Pretty much all of our posts regarding the Apple iPad have been talking about the device itself, however we will now look at some of the accessories which will be available for the device.

Accessories we know about so far include the iPad keyboard dock, the iPad case, iPad Dock Connector to VGA adapter and the iPad camera connection kit.

The keyboard dock will be available for $69, it will feature a “modified version of Apple’s latest aluminum keyboard” which looks very similar to what we see on the latest MacBooks, this keyboard also features function keys to control media playback and also the ability to adjust the display’s brightness, you can see a hands-on here.

There is not a lot to say about the iPad case, this will be available for $39, it is made from vinyl-like PVC plastic and features a microfiber interior, the casing can also double up as a prop-up stand, you can see plenty of hands on photos here.

The Apple iPad Dock Connector to VGA Adapter will be available for $29, this will output video at 1024 x 768, however will not output sound, therefore you will have to either use the iPad’s built-in speakers, or instead output the audio via the headphone port, its a shame that it didn’t feature HDMI-out instead as this outputs both sound and video, you can see a hands-on here.

Finally we will talk about the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit this will sell for $29, it is said to be based upon Apple’s iPod Camera Connector. In affect it is a USB card reader which reads SD memory cards, there is not much else known about this adapter however you can see a hands-on here.
