We have recently heard that the U.S. based commercial printing company Quad/Graphics Inc have agreed to buy the Canadian based Worldcolor Press Inc.
This deal is huge for Quad, this is due to the fact that Worldcolor Press Inc are responsible for printing popular magazines such as Cosmopolitan and Time.
In a statement released today by Quad/Graphics it was revealed that the merged company will have combined sales of $5.1 billion and 30,000 employees.
To help Quad/Graphics afford the deal it is believed that they received financing from JPMorgan Chase & Co. and U.S. Bancorp, if you would like to find out more regarding recent acquisition check out Bloomberg.
