Microsoft Internet Explorer: Patch Being Developed
By: Jamie Pert | January 20, 2010 | Leave a CommentMicrosoft have responded to all of the recent security-related criticism, it is thought they are working hard to patch their Internet Explorer web browser.
The reason Microsoft have been receiving bad press is due to Chinese hackers recently exploiting Internet Explorer, this allowed hackers access to human rights activists’ e-mail accounts.
Microsoft are said to be treating this security threat very seriously and working hard to patch the problem, however they are keen to state that the only browser version of theirs that has been exploited is Internet Explorer 6.
Usually Microsoft release updates consistently at certain times, however it is thought that this update is so important that they will be releasing it out-of-band.
