Technology helps Haiti disaster relief efforts

As you probably know experts are doing there up-most to help find survivors of the recent earthquake disaster in Haiti, a recent article posted on ComputerWorld looks at how technology is helping out.

This article does not look into technology which is used to help find survivors etc, however it does look into how industry leaders are helping out the cause.

So far Google has donated $1 million, and Microsoft has donated $1.25 million in cash along with in-kind donations, Apple have not announced a donation, however they have set up a donation mechanism within iTunes.
