Modern Warfare 2(Xbox 360, PS3 & PC): Reaches $1 billion in Sales

As you probably already know Modern Warfare 2 has set records for its popularity etc, we have now heard how the game has reached yet another milestone.

The game has now apparently taken more than $1 billion in revenue, this is no surprise really considering it made around $550 million in its first five days.

The multi-platform game has now sold around 15 million copies, its predecessor Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare sold 14.7 million copies throughout 2007.

Other games that have reached the $1 billion include Guitar Hero III and unsurprisingly World of Warcraft.

The most recent entertainment franchise that has reached $1 billion is the huge blockbuster Avatar, this is the fifth-ever film to gross more than $1 billion worldwide, for more information check out Telegraph.
