Motorola Milestone & DEXT: Receiving Android 2.1 Update
By: Jamie Pert | January 11, 2010 | Leave a CommentWe have recently heard how the Motorola Droid, CLIQ and Backflip will receive the Android 2.1 update, therefore it is not a huge surprise to hear that Motorola Europe will release the same OS version for their DEXT and Milestone handsets.
It was also revealed that the Milestone will soon be receiving an incremental update to Android 2.0.1, this is said to fix issues relating the handset’s camera, GPS and phone calls.
Android 2.1 (Eclair) is the OS which powers Google’s Nexus One handset, therefore it is no surprise that other handset manufacturers are looking to offer the OS version.
Currently we do not know any details regarding release dates, therefore we will have to keep you posted, for further details check out SlashGear.
