Nexus One Problems: Unanswered queries

Google had hoped to improve its relationship with us mere mortals with the launch of their Nexus One phone, but its recent 3G problems has not gone down well with users. When searching through Google Mobile forums you will see a number of questions being asked on the problems, with most if not all queries being left unanswered.
Google Nexus One owners first went to HTC who make the smartphone, but were told to contact T-Mobile. The carrier then said that it was nothing to do with them, so users turned to Google in the hope of some answers. The problem concerns the Google-branded phone switching from 3G to the much slower EDGE.
It is not certain if this issue is affecting all Nexus One owners or a select few. According to Mashable, Google have said that they will try to answer customer emails regarding the 3G issues in one to two days. Most people would agree that this is too long, not a great start.
If it was a problem with T-Mobile, then why is it not affecting any of their other handsets? Many believe that it could be a hardware or software issue, meaning that it is either HTC or Google. This issue needs to be resolved in the shortest amount of time possible, the handset has only been on the market for a few days and the problems have already begun.
