By: Jamie Pert | January 7, 2010 | Leave a CommentFans of Skype may be glad to hear that the popular service will soon be coming to Internet-enabled TVs, Skype-enabled TVs should launch sometime this year.
This has become possible following a deal between Skype, LG and Panasonic and will result in Skype becoming integrated into future TVs, this will allow users to use the Skype service without the need for a computer or smartphone.
The first models which will offer Skype will be Panasonic’s Viera Cast series, there will also 26 LG models with the service integrated.
