HP Slate Tablet: Microsoft release teaser video

Following on from our earlier report which told you about Micosoft’s upcoming HP Slate tablet device, we now have an official ‘teaser’ video for you to take a look at, as well as a few close up press photos.

As Pocket-Lint points out, detailed specifications on the HP ‘Slate’ are yet to be released, but from general observations, it is thought that the Slate will feature a multi-touch interface, come with a 7-10 inch display screen and will sport a built-in webcam.

It is certainly a smart move by Microsoft to announce their new tablet at CES 2009 – diverting all the hype and speculation away from the still unannounced tablet device by Apple.
