
CES 2010: New Sony VAIO W Series is ‘eco-friendly’ – photos
By: Alan Ng | January 7, 2010 | Leave a CommentWe have further news to bring you from CES 2009 now, as Sony has just announced and unveiled a new addition to their VAIO W Series with a stylish mini notebook.
As reported from Pocket-Lint, the new title of the device is the rather long ‘Sony Vaio W series “Eco Edition” mini notebook’ and it claims to help reduce CO2 emissions by 10%, compared to previous models in the W Series.
It will come equipped with a 10.1-inch display screen and features an LED backlight on top of that. Other features include an energy efficient N450 Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, a 250GB HDD, webcam, bluetooth, WiFi and an impressive 8.5 hours max of battery life.
It will come packed with Windows 7 starter edition and will be available in February. We’ll update you when we know pricing details.
