For those of you who were reluctant to pick up an Apple iPod Touch or Microsoft Zune HD over Christmas, Samsung has just announced two brand new media players of their own, as part of their CES 2010 lineup.

As reported from Pocket-Lint, the new media players are the 16GB Samsung IceTouch (YP-H1) and the 8GB MyFit (YP-W1), with both offering different features.

The IceTouch features a 2-inch AMOLED touchscreen and will run on Samsung’s familiar TouchWiz Sweep interface. It will have support for a wide variety of media formats, while it is also said to produce ‘DVD-like’ video quality.

As for the 8GB MyFit, it will serve as a neat gadget when jogging or performing fitness activities, as it features a calorie burn counter, stress and fat sensors, a smoking cessation utility and a water intake indicator.

If you are interested in either of these, they will both be available in the first half of 2010. No word on price yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
