EA Sports Staying Loyal to Tiger Woods
By: Jamie Pert | January 5, 2010 | Leave a CommentIt is no secret that Tiger Woods’ profile has taken quite a beating these last few months, however that said EA Sports have recently reiterated their commitment to him.
EA Sports president Peter Moore recently stated that the companies affiliation with Woods has always been “”rooted in golf” and added “Regardless of what’s happening in his personal life, and regardless of his decision to take a personal leave from the sport, Tiger Woods is still one of the greatest athletes in history.”
The first Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf was released in 1998, since then the series has seen success on many different platforms which have included PC, PlayStation, Game Boy Color, PS2, Xbox, GameCube, Mac OS, Game Boy Advance, N-Gage, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PSP, PS3 and even iPhone.
I have been a big fan of these games over the years and I am happy EA are showing loyalty to Tiger, for more information check out JoyStiq.
