Twitter has taken the world by storm growing faster with each day and 2010 is set to be even bigger for the micro-blogging website. It is no secret that users Tweet what they are up to during the day just so their friends know what they are up too, but the service can be used more serious.
We know that Twitter is a great source of information and can be used for people to look for jobs. ZDNet explains how Twitter users can find a job, offering details on a number of tips and tricks. Remember that Recruiters and HR reps now use the micro-blogging service and as Google indexes Tweets, it is now more important than ever to get noticed by other Twitter users.
ZDNet offer 11 tips, with the first and most important being “Tweet your resume”. They advise for you to store your resume online, there are a number of services to use, ResuBlog or Online Portfolio being two of the best. Make certain that you tweet that you are looking for work and remember to use some good keywords.
Always remember to Tweet your own articles or comments, it does not matter if you do not blog, you need to do this. Doing this will help share your comments or discussions with other Twitter users, these could be recruiters looking to hire someone.
