Father Christmas is preparing his reindeer for their long journey around the world, and for those of you who wish to keep track of him there is the NORAD Santa Tracker. However, this year if you have an OnStar system then subscribers will also be able to track the guy in the red suit thanks to a new partnership deal.
On December 24 at 6:00 a.m. EST, those with an active subscription to OnStar can press their blue OnStar button to receive an update while in their cars. Once you have requested the Santa update, OnStar advisers will then look to NORAD to find out just where Father Christmas is.

Advisers will receive an update every hour from NORAD up to December 25, 5 a.m. EST. This latest partnership was a long time coming, but great if kids are in the car and wish to know where Santa is, just make sure that you get them to bed early.
St. Nick recently visited the OnStar Command Center just to make sure that everything was in order before Christmas Eve. Now that Santa is fitted with the latest in GPS technology, he had better get to the North Pole to make sure that things are going to plan for his big night.
