Holiday Shipping Deadlines: Cut-off Dates

By Posted 16 Dec 2009, 12:37

We only have a few days left for Christmas; this means that holiday shipping deadlines are getting ever closer. How horrible would it be if you spent ages picking that perfect gift, only to find that you have missed the cut-off date? You had best do your homework to know when the last shipping dates will be.

This is the best time to grab yourself a bargain as many online stores are still offering huge deals. Bricks and mortar stores are also offering these great bargains, but you will need to get them delivered using the Untied States Postal Service or other delivery services. Thanks to Right Fashions doing some digging for us, they have located the cut-off dates.

Those Holiday Shipping Deadlines are as follows:

  • DBMC Drop Ship: Dec 19
  • Drop ship: Dec 23
  • Express mail: Dec 23
  • First class mail: Dec 21
  • Parcel Post: Dec 16
  • Priority mail: Dec 21

For a snapshot of the USPS Military and international mail shipping guidelines, hit this link. For those who will use UPS, they state that their last shipping date to make certain that it gets there in time for Christmas is December 21, only if you are using the UPS’s express air service in the US and Canada.

Fed Ex’s cut-off dates are a little more complicated, their dates range from December 17 to December 23. Happy shopping people.
