Modern Warfare 2 Unlimited Ammo Glitch: How to Fix

There have been a number of reports that Xbox 360 Modern Warfare 2 users have noted that their ammo counters are not working correctly. It seems that some users are joining multi-player games and finding that they have no ammo counters, instead all ammo is unlimited.

According to kotaku.com, there is not much to go on, but it seems that it is an exploit in the game that modders have created. The mod is then passed to anyone who plays with him or her online; it will then save to the consoles cache. Do not worry though, as it will not cause any damage to your system.

The only way for you to solve this issue is to disconnect from Xbox Live and then reboot your system. It is not certain how extensive this glitch is, Activision, Infinity Ward or Microsoft have yet to make any sort of comment on the issue.

Kotaku.com did update their article, Infinity Ward stated “It’s being addressed.” he also added “it’ll be eliminated soon enough”. Let us know if you have been affected by the unlimited ammo glitch?

    MW2 is just unplayable sure someone here will disagree with me but i cant be on my own when i say I WANT TO PLAY THE LEGIT WAY dont you…….. ppl say its fun rust with 18 ppl is fun but my screen was filled with smoke for half the time in the match i played this morning from nade lauchers……. infinity ward has lost it……the beta for cod 4 saw IW fix what was broken before release………They should of had a beta for MW2…. Im trading in for ac2 never again will i spend hard earned cash on anything with infinity wards name on it

    I have. Yesterday I was playing on Estate when I noticed my teamates laughing talking about if noob tubes would work. Then the game started and all I heard was explosions. Everyone but me was using noob tubes, automatic no realoading. It was pretty fun I would have to say the screen was shaking and everyone was laughing having a good time. I got a 5 kill streak preator missle got a kill, then a harrier strike, then i got my 11 kill streak the AC130. It was automatic and didnt need any reloading. It was awesome I just rained down explosions and just spawned killed them. It was fun. :D

    The worst weapons with this mod are noob tubes and rocket launchers. This mod turned MW2 into Unreal Tournament or another version of Halo.

    I played with this glitch. The worst was one someone got an AC130 and he just fired for nearly the entire round. They ended up with something like a 120 kills and 23 deaths.
