Green Day: Rock Band – Release coming next year to PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii
By: Alan Ng | December 14, 2009 | 5 CommentsSome exciting news to report for fans of rockers Green Day now, as the band exclusively unveiled the upcoming ‘Green Day: Rock Band’ game, at the Video Game Awards over the weekend.
As reported from Eurogamer, the title will be heading to the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, and is expected to release sometime next year.
A trailer came with the reveal, giving you a sneak pic of character models, gameplay and some of the songs that will be playable.
One thing to point out though, is that tracks from Green Day: Rock Band will be fully exportable to both Rock Band and RB:2 – a feature that was missing from The Beatles: Rock Band.
Combine that with support for all previous Rock Band Green Day material, including DLC – then we have a lot of happy Green Day fans no doubt.
Watch the trailer below, then let us know your initial impressions of the game.
