Google Phone: Like Dragon / Passion with specs of Bravo

Over the past few days much has been said about the Google Phone, which is thought to be called the Nexus One. We recently spoke about the news that the Google-branded phone was heading for a collision course with Verizon and Motorola, but how much do we really know about the phone with its Dragon / Passion looks and Bravo Specs?

We know that the handset will be made by HTC, with some of our readers saying that the phone is already doomed to fail with this cell phone maker involved. We know that the handset was given to a number of Google employees to test, which we discussed a few of days ago.

The nexus One or whatever you want to call it will come with the Snapdragon processor, 3.7-inch AMOLED display and a 5-megapixel camera. The OS is thought to be the same that runs on the Motorola Droid, Google Android 2.0.1. The handset will have no physical keyboard, instead going for the Apple iPhone route with just the touchscreen. However, it is thought that there will be no multitouch; this could prove a costly mistake.

All Things Digital suggests that T-Mobile are now interested in the Google Phone, which will be sold as an unlocked unit. Verizon was the first carrier asked, but they turned them down flat.

All these reports are still only rumor as Google are yet to come out and officially the Nexus One, so how much of it is true if any?
