Castoven Microwave: Watch YouTube videos while waiting!
By: Alan Ng | December 14, 2009 | Leave a CommentThis will probably win the award for ‘most interesting story of the day’. How would you like to own a microwave that lets you watch YouTube videos, while your food is warming up?
We have a video of a concept device which does exactly this. As reported from Pocket-Lint, it’s called the Castoven Microwave and comes equipped with a 10-inch LCD display which is connected to an internet-enabled computer.
Apparently, the device will select a random video from YouTube, according to the time that you set on your microwave. This means that when the video ends, your item inside the microwave will be ready to go.
A very neat idea if you ask us, it will be interesting to see if this takes off in Japan. Check out the video below, then let us know what you think of it.
Would you have one of these in your kitchen?
