Halo Reach Trailer Premiere and New Engine: Xbox 360

Today we see Halo Reach looks better than ever and this has been shown in the Halo Reach trailer premiere. You can view the trailer in high-definition below this post, thanks to Bungie.

Halo Reach could become the biggest Xbox 360 game in 2010, and after watching the trailer premiere and seeing the latest screenshots you cannot help think that the game has a new engine. Burn360.net points this out with a nice collection of photos, and asks the question: Will Halo Reach be using a new engine?

The trailer does not reveal much; instead it is more of a teaser featuring some talking and dramatic music. The release was timed with the 2009 Spike Video Game Awards. Let us know what you think of the trailer and screenshots, and then share your thoughts on the new engine rumors.

    Erm… did you guys really have to ask that?
    New engine it’s not really a rumor. Bungie announced they were going to use a new engine on an episode of the bonus round. And it ******* shows, the game looks sweet now…. not gonna lie thought Halo 3 was not up to par! This stands up to the MW2s and Gears, Killzones and Unchartereds out there now!

    In all reality it is not fair to compare Halo 3 to MW2 or the new games. Possibly Gears. The game came out 2 years ago and was great for its time.
