Batman Arkham Asylum 2: Video Game Awards

There was no doubt that Batman Arkham Asylum 2 would be developed considering the huge success that the game has had, and now the recent rumors of this have now been confirmed. Square Enix decided to make the official announcement while at the 2009 Video Game Awards.

There are no release date details yet, but we know that it will be in 2010, more than likely in the second half. Square Enix certainly have their work cutout, as the current Batman Arkham Asylum was made game of the year early on in its release.

Not much is known about the storyline but according to Play.tm, the story should carry on where the original game left off. This would mean that we would get to see the Joker once again. Mark Hamill provided the voice in the first game, so should reprise his role once again.

We are not sure who the other characters will be, but they will need to have something extra special, as The Joker is awesome in the current game. The sequel will be a larger game, something that fans will enjoy.

    The first batman arkham was perfect, i enjoyed the story line as i played it to beginning to the end . Now im ready to play the second that i have been hearing about, hopefully they will start off from the first one. but if they do ill be woundering how they will return joker because he just got beat up by batman and they locked him up and im sure that theirs guards watching right out his cage after all that he did in the first one. Now that i think about it what happened at the beginning when batman himself brought joker to arkham, what if they start the secound one when the joker was at the town before batman captured him to throw joker in arkham that would be a great game.

    I am just waiting for 2 part to be release,the story line should be continue from the last part endpoint,please release it as fast as possible
