Batman Arkham Asylum 2: Video Game Awards
By: Peter Chubb | December 13, 2009 | 5 CommentsThere was no doubt that Batman Arkham Asylum 2 would be developed considering the huge success that the game has had, and now the recent rumors of this have now been confirmed. Square Enix decided to make the official announcement while at the 2009 Video Game Awards.
There are no release date details yet, but we know that it will be in 2010, more than likely in the second half. Square Enix certainly have their work cutout, as the current Batman Arkham Asylum was made game of the year early on in its release.
Not much is known about the storyline but according to Play.tm, the story should carry on where the original game left off. This would mean that we would get to see the Joker once again. Mark Hamill provided the voice in the first game, so should reprise his role once again.
We are not sure who the other characters will be, but they will need to have something extra special, as The Joker is awesome in the current game. The sequel will be a larger game, something that fans will enjoy.
