How to twitter from a cell phone, BlackBerry and iPhone

There are those of us who have yet to fully embrace the delight of Twitter, while some of us feel the need to constantly update theirs and tweet to their friends, fans or followers. Twitter can been viewed and updated from almost anywhere thanks to the new range of smartphones, such as BlackBerry and the iPhone.
There are still those who do not know how to update Twitter from these devices, but it is much easier than you would think. Let us take a look at the iPhone first. The first thing that you will need is an app, there used to only be a few available, but now there are a host of applications allowing you access to twitter.
It is often hard to know what is the best application to use, they range in price and some of them have been hyped up to sound better than they actually are. Mashable have been taking a look at each app to see what are the different options for Twitter users.
Tweetstack is one of the most feature-rich Twitter apps, giving you extra search options as well as custom tabs. ITunes have rated this 2.5 out of five, but Mashable have rated the app 3.5.
Tweetie looks to be a little gem; this app looks nice and offers fast performance, there are a number of different options. all for just $2.99. Mashable have rated this 5 stars. The aforementioned website has reviewed 29 different Twitter apps for the iPhone, which you can read here.
As we mentioned above, BlackBerry users also like to use Twitter, so we felt the need to do some digging to search for one of the newest apps. We located one called yFrog. This app gives you something extra, as you can gain access to Twitter on both BlackBerry and Android handsets.
This latest applications allows you to Tweet text, video and images as well as viewing tweets. The yFrog app for Android goes a step further by offering more features. For more information on this app, visit TechCrunch.
Search engines also know the importance of Twitter, which is why Google are now including content from Twitter in their Live Search Reuslts.
