E-readers are all the rage, so it comes as no surprise that Interead have been working on an update for their COOL-ER line. The new COOL-ER 3G e-reader will work in conjunction with AT&T and also incorporates Wi-Fi for wireless capabilities. The release of this latest device should be some time in mid-2010.
Interead already has a COOL-ER ereader on the market, this was launched in May 2009, so have wasted no time in offering an upgraded version. Apart from the new connectivity features there are also a choice of eight different colors, much like the iPod Nano range.
These latest e-readers will support books written in a multitude of languages, such as English, Spanish, French and German. When downloading new books from COOLER-EBOOKS.com, these can be shared with up to five devices, much the same as Apple does when purchasing Movies and TV Shows.
The small little gadget weighs just 5.6 ounces, so will hardly feel like you are carrying it in your rucksack. According to Engadget, when launched in 2010 you will be able to purchase the COOL-ER 3G e-reader from a range of retailers, such as QVC.
When the reader is connected to NewspaperDirect, the user will then have access to more than 1,300 newspapers and magazines. You have to agree, that is pretty impressive.
