BlackBerry Bold 9000, Curve 8900 & 8520: OS 5.0.0.411 Leaked

If you own a BlackBerry Bold 9000, Curve 8900 or Curve 8520 you may be glad to hear that OS 5.0.0.411 has recently leaked.

Obviously as the OS has not yet officially released by RIM there is a risk that they could cause more hassle then they are worth, however if you understand the risk you can download the Bold 9000 update here, the Curve 8900 update here and the Curve 8520 update here.

Previously it has been rumored that this OS release should be released by RIM officially before 2010, therefore if it was me I would probably wait.

    I downloaded and installed this version on my Bold 9000. It works like a charm. The only problem I noticed so far is that the Voice Dialing software doesn’t work. Instead, it says: Initalizing, Scanning contacts… then after reaching 4% it goes back to the home screen.

    Well based on the fact that the voice dialing feature is, IMHO, a total waste of space (never worked properly, and couldn’t car emuch for it). I find this to be a no biggie.

    In fact, I would love if I could officially uninstall this application.
