It looks as if NEC will be releasing two new projector models later this month, these projectors are designed for educational and business use.
The two models are the NEC NP2200 and the NP1200, both of these projectors are suitable for large rooms, according to SlashGear’s article they can project images of up to 500 inches from 304 feet (doesn’t seem right to me as NEC’s official site suggest that the projector supports protection distances of between 2.5 to 68.5 ft).
According to NEC the NEC NP1200 offers a screen size of between 25 to 500 inches, it features a 600:1 contrast ratio, a native resolution of 1024×768 and a maximum resolution of 1600×1200, for more details check out this link.
The NEC NP2200 is pretty much identical however it outputs at 4200 lumens whereas the NP1200 outputs at 3700 lumens, for full details check out NEC’s site.
