Microsoft Patch Update: 12 bugs and IE-8 flaws
By: Alan Ng | December 9, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt has been reported that Microsoft has issued another patch update to their Windows software, fixing around 12 persistant bugs and mainly addressing some Internet Explorer 8-specific issues.
As reported from Computer World, 12 bugs were found in Windows, Internet Explorer and Office, while three further issues were found in IE8, which Microsoft had labelled ‘critical’.
The patch was split into six separate security updates, which all went live on Tuesday. Out of all the updates, security researchers have identified the updates to Internet Explorer 8 as the most important.
One quote from a Security Director reads – “You can’t focus enough attention on the IE update. It trumps the bunch.”
