Only last week, we reported on rumors regarding the possibility of PSP Minis appearing on the Playstation 3, but now Sony has confirmed it today, stating that the service will indeed come with the next firmware update.
As reported from Eurogamer, Minis on PS3 will be available from December 17th. Minis will function on PS3 thanks to an emulator that Sony says will be contained within the next big firmware update.
It now means that whenever you purchase and download Minis, you’ll be able to try them out on your PS3, then transfer over to your PSP for use on the go.
Furthermore, Sony has added that the ‘majority’ of Minis will be available for use on the PS3, and users will not have to purchase the game twice in order to play on the PS3.
