It has been reported that Sony has been busy behind the scenes, securing a new patent for some add-on devices for their upcoming motion controller peripheral.
As reported from Kotaku, the official patent filing is for a “Expandable Control Device Via Hardware Attachment”, and as you can see from the image over at Kotaku, its a collection of add-on possibilities for their motion controller.
One possibility for an add-on is the ability to join two motion controllers together, while another sees users able to connect a dual shock controller via a separate add-on.
Head over to Kotaku to read full details, as well as view images of all the different add-ons. Let us know what you think about this.
