iPhone App Store: 1011 Molinker Apps pulled by Apple
By: Alan Ng | December 8, 2009 | 1 CommentSome interesting news to report now, as it has been revealed that around 1011 apps from the same developer have been pulled from the App Store by Apple, over what looks to be due to a ratings scam.
As reported from Pocket-Lint, the developer in question is Molinker and specializes in Photography-based applications for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
However, all of their 1011 apps have been removed from the Apple store according to Phil Schiller, after it was found out that all of their apps were highly positive 5 star rating reviews, written in broken english and all the reviewers only writing about Molinker Apps.
Molinkers contract with the App Store has now changed to ‘pending status’, meaning that Apple are now likely to look into this case, with possible action to follow against Molinker.
Did you buy any of their apps? If so, what do you think of them?
