Christmas Deals 2009: iViewer HDTV – Comes with built-in BBC iPlayer and YouTube
By: Alan Ng | December 8, 2009 | Leave a CommentWe have some good news for fans of the BBC iPlayer service, as British company Cello Electronics has just announced and unveiled a new HDTV which comes with the on-demand service built-in. Nifty.
As reported from Pocket-Lint, the iViewer HDTV will work by connecting to the internet via Ethernet cable or a Wi-Fi dongle which is available as an add-on.
You’ll also get access to YouTube and you can even hook the iViewer up to your PC for a complete media streaming setup.
If you’re interested in picking one up, it will be available in a 32-inch 1080p version for £499, which features two HDMI ports and Freeview.
There is also a 26-inch version which will be available for £399. The both versions will be available this month, but pre-orders are expected to be high, as a result of the Christmas sales.
