Western Digital TV Live HD: Firmware Update Causing Major Problems
By: Jamie Pert | December 7, 2009
If you own a Western Digital TV Live HD media box you may want to steer clear of installing their most recent firmware update, according to a recent post on SlipperyBrick this update is causing many users major issues.
From what we can see if you install the latest firmware update (v1.101.12) it may result in your media box becoming useless, people are suggesting that once they installed the update their device showed a blank screen and nothing else.
Western Digital have addressed the issue and have pulled they update from their site, if you have had problems since the update I would suggest that you contact Western Digital.
As we hear more information regarding the firmware we will keep you up-to-date, for more details check out SlipperyBrick.
