Google Maps for WinMo and Symbian: Update v3.3 released
By: Alan Ng | December 7, 2009 | Leave a CommentGood news for Windows Mobile and Symbian phone owners, as Google has confirmed that a new update for their Maps application is now available to download, bringing the version to 3.3.
As reported from BGR, key areas addressed in the update include the ability to mark your favorite items with a star, and keep those synced between your computer and phone – a feature which will go down pretty well we’re sure.
Once you have updated to the new version, the app will then ask you if you want to synchronize the ‘starred items’ between your phone and Google Account, so be ready for that.
Full details of the update and how to download can be found on the official Google Blog here. Let us know your feedback following the update.
