Nokia’s Symbian 2010 Re-engineered UI

Most handset’s released these days with the Symbian OS in my opinion have a far less appealing user interface when compared to other competing devices, it seems that Nokia have now realized this as they plan to revamp Symbian throughout 2010.
Not only will the new user interface be a lot more visually appealing but it will also be more intuitive and a lot faster.
According to a video posted on SlashGear it seems that the re-engineered UI will arrive before mid-year, then later in 2010 the UI will reach another milestone.
The new UI will be simpler to use and there will be less clutter, also web browsing will be significantly improved and there will be improved multitouch capabilities.
All in all it looks like 2010 may be great for Nokia handset’s with Symbian OS’s, perhaps this is due to the competition which Maemo has created, for more details check out SlashGear.
