Sony Ericsson Satio: Patch Now Available
By: Jamie Pert | December 2, 2009 | 1 CommentJust over a week ago we posted an article regarding a software issue which was occurring with Sony Ericsson Satio handsets, this software fault resulted in the UK outlets ‘The Carphone Warehouse’ and ‘Phones 4U’ suspending sales.
It now seems as if Sony Ericsson have managed to fix the problem with a patch, this patch fixes bugs which caused the handset to freeze whilst multi-tasking.
The latest firmware is version R1CA037, if you would like to download the firmware check out Sony Ericsson’s download site.
It is thought that users who have installed the update have been happy with the update on the whole, however we have not heard conclusive evidence yet.
Currently ‘The Carphone Warehouse’ and ‘Phones 4U’ are still not offering the handset, however I’m sure that if this update is well received it will soon be available. Check out TheInquirer for more details.
If you decide to install the patch please ensure your handset has adequate battery life, also ensure you have backed up all of your data.
