Motorola Droid: 1 million units nearly sold
By: Alan Ng | December 1, 2009 | 2 CommentsIt has been reported that Motorola could be hitting their initial sales prediction of their Droid handset on Verizon after it is thought that the handset is close to hitting 1 million units sold.
As reported from BGR, sales at the moment are said to be around the 700,000 / 800,000 mark for the fourth quarter, meaning that we could well see the Droid reach the 1 million mark before the end of the year.
BGR states that the huge $100 advertising campaign that Verizon and Motorola took part in is largely responsible for the great figures so far, so they are obviously hoping it continues for the rest of the holiday season.
