Google Phone 2010: Runs on new version of Android, prototypes coming soon

We have some more details on the rumored Google phone for you to read now, as it has now been reported that the phone, said to be coming next year, will run on a new version of the Android operating system.
As stated over at Apple Insider, prototypes of the new device are said to be arriving at Google’s headquarters over the next few weeks.
Furthermore, we are hearing that the new Google-branded phone will feature a large screen and that this new version of Android will also run on laptops.
AI also states that Google has said that the current version of Android is not the ‘real’ version, so this new phone is certainly looking rather promising.

I might ask my parents for it instead of an iPhone
I had the new google phone in my hand last night. A friend works for them. It is sweet! I am told it is GSM only so Verizon users are out of luck. Damn!
