During the reveal of the BBC’s monthly press pack, it has been reported that all-new screenshots of the BBC iPlayer Application for iPhone have surfaced, giving us all kinds of juicy details on the yet-to-be-announced feature.

As reported from Pocket-Lint, the screenshots show the standalone iPlayer app running on the iPhone, revealing a download section, live streaming tab and the option to watch live broadcasts as it happens on TV.

As many of you will be well aware, the BBC are yet to announce anything regarding the iPlayer app, as users are still able to use an optimized iPlayer on the iPhone’s browser.

However, the BBC’S Nick Reynolds has responded to this image leak, stating that it is ‘old’ and doesn’t mean that anything will happen soon.

Its coming though, we all know it. We are impressed with the Live TV feature, we didnt expect that at all. Let us know your thoughts on the news.
