Nikon Coolpix S70 Review: Full of Disappointment
By: Peter Chubb | November 30, 2009 | Leave a CommentThe Nikon Coolpix S70 is the first camera from the Coolpix range to offer 12-megapixel. The camera offers a large OLED touchscreen and will even record 720p HD movies. PhotographyBLOG have been spending some time with the camera to offer its readers a full review.
Some of the features include 5x zoom optical zoom, 4x digital zoom, Vibration Reduction and much more. The Nikon Coolpix S70 is a leap forward in its design compared to its predecessor, but can often be hard to use.
The screen on the camera is nice and bright and the features are very responsive, working much faster than the older model. When you come to use some of the features other than portraits and landscapes, then things do begin to slow down.
PhotographyBLOG concludes that the Nikon Coolpix S70 is well built but is full of disappointment. The reason is because user control is limited when taking photos and often becomes annoying. Image level quality is also low, something to do with its inconsistencies in sharpness.
