Microsoft Hohm Software: Track and Monitor Energy Use
By: Peter Chubb | November 30, 2009 | 1 Comment2009 has been all about how we can conserve our energy and 2010 will carry on the same way. We have been so conscious about how much power we use and look for ways to use less, and the use of Microsoft Hohm software is the next step in managing the power we use.
According to “Early Show” contributor Natali Del Conte, this new software helps the family track how much energy you use by logging onto the Internet. Microsoft will work with energy companies so you can monitor your usage as well as offering tips in how to save the energy that you use.
According to CBS News, a family has been trying out the new Microsoft Hohm software; they were also advised on how to wash their clothes at different times, this would also help to reduce costs. Using electric at a later time is much cheaper as the cost of electricity goes down.
The family was also advised to change all their light bulbs to energy saving ones; this will also help save cost as well as last much longer.
