Kohjinsha DZ Dual-display netbook: Specifications, Pricing and Shipping Details
By: Jamie Pert | November 27, 2009 | Leave a CommentWhen I first saw the Kohjinsha dual-display netbook concept I must admit I was very impressed, soon after we posted an article showing a video demo demonstrating the dual-display functionality of the netbook, which left me even more impressed.
We are now beginning to hear details regarding specifications, pricing and a shipping date, according to an article posted on SlashGear the netbook will be available in Japan on December 11th for 79,800 yen, this equates to around $920.
As for specifications the netbook features two 10.1 inch displays which both support a resolution of 1024×600, one of these displays slides out from beneath the other.
As for technical specifications there is an AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 (1.6GHz) processor, 1GB of RAM (upgradeable), a 160GB hard drive, built-in WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1. The battery is said to last for up to 4.5 hours however I would imagine this will suffer if both displays are being used.
As we hear more regarding a possible U.S. release we will keep you informed, check out SlashGear for more information, their article features a gallery of images too.
