Females Prefer Nintendo Wii’s: Do you agree?

According to a recent study carried out by Nintendo it seems that female gamers often choose Nintendo Wii’s rather than rival consoles.

Obviously as the study was carried out by Nintendo the figures may be questionable, but if true it suggest that 80 percent of females choose the Nintendo Wii, 11 percent choose the Xbox 360 and 9 percent choose the PlayStation 3.

These figures to not take into account handheld gamers, nor do they consider PC gamers. Personally I find the figures extreme hard to believe, I would have thought many females would have brought Nintendo’s for the more light hearted gaming (obviously not all woman), but I can’t see an 80 percent dominance being likely for the Wii.
