Acer’s 2010 Smartphones: Android and Windows Mobile
By: Jamie Pert | November 27, 2009 | Leave a CommentRecently we have heard details regarding the shipping of Acer’s first Android handset the Acer Liquid A1, however we have not heard a lot about future handsets from the manufacturer, however the leader of Acer’s phone unit has recently revealed details regarding the company’s 2010 plans.
We do not yet know of particular handsets or specifications, however we do now know that Acer plan to release 8-10 handsets in 2010, it seems that Acer will use both Android and Windows Mobile for these future handsets.
According to SlashGear’s report there will be a balance between Android and Windows Mobile, this is due to the recent growth of the Android platform.
Personally I feel 2010 will be huge for the Android OS and may impact Windows Mobile quite noticeably. What do you think?
