Xbox 360 Mod: XB Elegant Edition Retrofit

I hate to upset Xbox 360 fans, but their much love games console is not the best looking device on the planet. However, a recent mod has turned up on AcidMods forums and the redesign certainly looks different. Technabob thought that it was not real and was the work of Photoshop, but it is real.

This Xbox 360 mod has been named the XB Elegant Edition and is the work of Sweden’s Industri Repro. All the guts are the same, but it is the outside where all the work has taken place. The new exterior looks much better than the normal case and will not look out of place in your living room.

We all know how much the Xbox 360 suffers with its cooling, so the inclusion of three 120mm fans will keep things running sweet. When you start to look closer at this mod, things do go a bit downhill, the case is on the large side and looks like a bulky DVD player.

There is a lot of space inside the case, but this will help to circulate the airflow. We are not sure when this XB Elegant Edition case will be available to purchase, but we know that production started back in August.
