BlackBerry Pearl 9100 (aka Striker): Recently Sold on Ebay

Last week we posted an article regarding leaked images of the upcoming BlackBerry Pearl 9100 (Striker), it now seems as if the unreleased handset has now been sold on eBay.

The handset was listed on eBay with a buy it now price of $3,000.00, however in the ended up auctioning for $1,125.00, there were 29 bids in total.

According to the seller the handset was brand new and the packaging had never been opened, according to the listing the handset was unlocked to work on any GSM carrier.

We are not to sure of the auctions legitimacy at the moment, however it is questionable as they used one of the previously leaked pictures in the items gallery.
