Zhu Zhu Pets: Black Friday inspired music video

By: Peter Chubb | November 25, 2009 | 1 Comment

Each year on Black Friday there is always a product that is considered hot, and for 2009 that item would be the Zhu Zhu Pet. Parent’s have been listening to their children all year about how much they want these toy pets. However, there could be trouble ahead for parents.

We have recently learned that parent’s have been finding it difficult getting their hands on these Zhu Zhu Pets, this has even inspired a music video by Lou Carlozo of Walletpop called “The Black Friday (Can’t Get No Zhu Zhu Pet) Blues.” Watch the video below.

We have spent the best part of 20 minutes trying to locate a store that has these toy hamsters in stock, we tried Walmart, Toy R Us and even eToys, all say they are out of stock online. We advise you to call your local retailer, they may have just had a delivery in, but the chances of that are very slim.

There is so good news though; we mentioned in a recent post that Wal-Mart and Toys R Us would be getting new stock in for Black Friday. These toys are very popular, so only the first 100 customers in the queue will be able to purchase one.

Its incredible how a simple Toy has so high demand
people are literally fighting to get this thing before
    they are sold out.

The main problem is that many third party sellers
are reselling them for up to $50 dollars.

Here is a tip that im going to use to get one of those
for $12 dollars before the holidays.

    I will monitor Amazon.com with FrontLineGrabber.com
so it notifies me with a sound alarm the second the
zhu zhu pets become available in Amazon.com in-stock at
    retail price.
