When the Palm Pixi cell phone was launched, who would have thought that it would get caught up in a pricing frenzy? When the Pixi was first launched by Sprint it had a price tag of $99, but looking back at a recent post, that has now been reduced to $25 on Amazon.

It is not only the Pixi caught in this pricing frenzy; the Palm pre has also seen a huge price reduction, now just $80. This can be seen one of two ways, Palm is struggling to shift these handsets or Sprint wish to sign more customers up to one of its service plans.
