ColorWare’s Latest Creations: Custom iMac and Magic Mouse
By: Jamie Pert | November 25, 2009 | Leave a CommentThroughout the last year or so we have seen a wide-range of devices that have received the ‘ColorWare treatment’, usually resulting in a boring device receiving a vibrant new look.
Recently we have seen a “Stealth MacBook Pro” and vibrant iPhone 3GS’s, now ColorWare have customized the Apple iMac and Magic Mouse.
Firstly we will talk about the iMac, the design shown on SlashGear shows a pretty impressive looking iMac with a black frame around the display with a turquoise gloss finish to the rear of the device and below the display.
You can choose the colors yourself however it will cost you $700 on top of Apple’s device, alternatively you can send in your iMac and pay $500.
The Magic mouse is a bit more affordable as you would expect, to buy a customized Magic Mouse (with your own choice of two colors) it will cost you $100, alternatively you can send in your own Magic Mouse and pay just $30.
As with all ColorWare projects the finish looks amazing, however in my opinion it is a lot to pay, find out more on SlashGear.
