Black Friday 2009 deals get hype, Cyber Monday best for online
Filed under: News

The first Friday after Thanksgiving always gets all the hype that is because it is Black Friday, but is all this attention warranted. There is another day that should get more hype and that is Cyber Monday; this is because this day offers you great online deals.
This day has been getting busier in recent years, there are a number of factors why but the biggest reason is because people much prefer to shop at home now. The term Cyber Monday started in 2005 after retailers wanted to offer shoppers the deals that they had missed out on the Friday before.
According to an article over at myfoxchattanooga.com, they were looking at a post done by Walletpop, it states that there will be an 80 to 90 percent increase in tech gadgets this year alone, but these are on doorbuster deals.
The best deals will still be on Black Friday, but the gap between better deals on that day compared to Cyber Monday is decreasing in size. Let us not forget about Thanksgiving Day itself, this day will also be great for deals online.
We can personally see Thanksgiving Day being the busiest day yet for shoppers online, not that they will be buying then, but doing research on what deals are on offer both on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
