AT&T and Verizon Ads: What they don’t say
Filed under: Cell Phone Information, Cell Phones

Over the past few weeks we have been covering the antics of both Verizon and AT&T, as they continue to bicker who has the best network. The trouble is, this has all been aired in public in the way of numerous TV ads. The funny thing is, there are truths to both sides, but according to AP, there are a number of things that both companies do not say.
We all know about the Verizon Ads, which show a map of the U.S., they state that AT&T’s 3G coverage is very poor. AT&T was not happy with this and decided to launch a lawsuit, which ended being thrown out of court. As a result, AT&T thought that they would begin their own ad campaign.
AT&T hired Luke Wilson for the ad, but it was like he did not want to be there. The ad was never as clever as Verizon’s, which had the slogan “There’s a map for that.” We knew that it was a dig that they did not have the iPhone, as the smartphone’s slogan was “There’s an app for that.”
It does seem a shame that both cell phone carriers are continuing with this mud-slinging contest. Both AT&T and Verizon do not seem worried about what rivals T-Mobile and Sprint Nextel are doing, as they are pulling away from them at a fast rate. Instead they seem hell bent on stealing customers from each other.

Ok, what are the things that both ads don’t say?
Also, how can competition between the nation’s two largest wireless carriers be bad in any way, shape, or form?
