Apple iPhone 3GS and Sony PSP: On Par
By: Peter Chubb | November 25, 2009
Michael Schade, CEO of Fishlabs has recently made a comment that will certainly make people take notice. While speaking to PocketGamer.biz, he went on record by saying that the Apple iPhone 3GS was just as powerful as the Sony PSP, if not more.
He said that the 3GS was on par with the PSP, but could even be beyond it, it is that statement that would certainly have raised a few eyebrows. My cousin was having the same discussion with me today, saying how great the new Call of Duty game was on the iPhone 3GS, as well as how cheap.
I argued that the 3GS was good for playing games, but was often very hard to control as well as the lack of good titles. Maybe once developers begin to learn that the iPhone is a great platform, then we are certain that more titles will follow.
Once more iPhone 3GS specific games are launched, only then can we compare the iPhone 3GS with the Sony PSP. Until then, we will wait and reserve our judgment.
